| H.E.Prof. Pornpetch Wichitcholchai, President of the National Legislative Assembly of Thailand, accompanied by Hon. Mr. Thamrong Dasananjali, Member of the National Legislative Assembly of Thailandand Chairman of the Executive Committee of Thai Scout Parliamentary Association, and WSPU Organizing Committee look over the venue for the meeting before the opening of the Inaugural Ceremony of the 9thWorld Scout Parliamentary Union General Assemblyentitled“Roles of the Parliament in Supporting Scout Movement towards SDGs Achievement”starts tomorrow, Tuesday, 13 November 2018. The World Scout Parliamentary Union(WSPU), founded in 1991, is an international scout organization that unites Scout-oriented parliamentarians. Its objectives are to strengthen the National Scout Organization as a national scout organization and World Scouting as an international scout organization through the influence of parliamentariansfrom all over the world to discuss and exchange their views to solve problems for youth, and to develop youth of the country to be a decent citizen with responsibility and creativity in order to bring about unity, prosperity, peace and national stability. |
